The process we will discuss in detail through the remainder of this chapter is as follows:
Install replication services It should be noted that all of the steps we are going to perform can be accomplished using stored procedures that ship with SQL Server. Well be using the GUI instead as it lends itself better to learning and managing replication. If you havent already, start up Enterprise Manager. The first thing we need to do is to enable the replication services and set up the distribution database. Select Tools | Replication | Configure Publishing and Subscribers as shown in Figure 14-10.
