Clicking the SQL Probe error log button will display the figure below.  This will contain general information related to the alerting thresholds that you have set up.  This will normally contains such things as which services are stopped and which tables have become unacceptably fragmented.

Clicking the SQL Server error log button will display the figure below.  There is a very handy feature for viewing the error log.  You can either view the entire log or view only the errors.  Since you are rarely concerned with the 9 miles of unimportant stuff in the error log, I would leave the view errors only box selected
