Log Explorer 2.0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 The table tab will probably be the most used filter. You are generally interested in operations against a tables or group of tables. This tab allows you to filter out all tables you are not interested in.
The UserID tab allows you to restrict the log to only those transaction performed by a specific user or a user within a certain database role. This gives you the ability to target the changes from a specific user. It is a very common occurrence for a user to make a mistake with data. If you have Log Explorer available on your system, you can fix those mistakes very easily and the filtering allows you to very quickly target the appropriate transactions.
I've found the SPID to be the least useful filter simply because a SPID is very transitory and a single user can have many different SPIDs in the course of a single day. If you actually have a situation you can tie to a SPID though, this can help you target transactions effectively.
