Log Explorer 2.0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 Below you will see that I have attached to my pubs database and selected several backup files to use.
Once attached to the database, all of the features of Log Explorer become available as shown below in the left hand menu.
The Log Summary will give you the high level information about the logs that you selected. As we can see below, I have 42 sets of data that start at 5:10 PM on 8/13 and go through the present. Yes, you will note that the application selects to the present by hard coding 2/7/2036, but since that date is still well into the future, we're OK for now, but it really needs to be changed or at least masked from the user.
