This utility provides syntax coloring of your SQL statements and will scroll to the first error encountered when submitting a SQL batch. You can simply execute your SQL batch or you can execute it with options. The execute with options allows you to set an isolation level, specify quoted identifiers, ignore or abort arithmetic overflow, output directly to a file, turn on showplan, statistics, or force a plan. But the third method of execution is what makes this single feature worth the price of the entire tool. The third method is called step execute. This will allow you to step through a batch of SQL. Other tools exist on the market that range upwards of $2000 just for the ability to debug and step through SQL.
DBArtisan gives too many time saving and easy to use features to not be a tool of choice for all DBAs.
